RSS and BitTorrent

Getting started with BitTorrent RSS in Radio [BETA]

There has been a lot of talk about both of these technologies, finally somebody decided to do something with both of them. The idea is that you can subscribe to an RSS feed and have bittorrent auto-download files from .torrent links in the feed.

I’ve seen some torrent sites that have RSS feeds, but they just embed the link in their story. You still have to click on the link to the .torrent to download the file. I think I like that a little better than having files I don’t know about automatically downloaded to my computer. That’s just one step away from them being automatically installed on my computer without my knowledge.

I could see subscribing to a Corbis photo thread or maybe a video news thread. But I still want the choice of whether or not to download the file to be in my mouse.
