Toast and popups

I’m probably in the minority here, but I *HATE* anything that pops up. Toast, bubbles, all that crap. I hate it. I’ll put up with it if it doesn’t show up very often, like MSN messages or updates to my virus scanner. But whoever thought of that needs a good kick in the junk. Whatever happened to just flashing in the system tray or taskbar?
