You LINK to people you blog about, especially if they include a link in the comment that sparked your post. Linking makes the web go around and makes the baby Jesus laugh and kittens purr.

There is a large amount of elitism in the general weblogs.asp.net when it comes to linking outside of their little community. Pisses me off. I’ve already unsubscribed to the main Microsoft feed at weblogs.asp.net mainly because I got tired of the propaganda.

I realize that this post by Matt Warren is supposed to be tongue in cheek but most of the Microsoft posts do have an “enforced” feel to them.

There are a few MS bloggers I’m still subscribed to. I unsubscribed from the main feed two weeks ago, occasionally I would browse to blogs.msdn.com to see if I was missing anything, I haven’t.
