Data can be sad.

Data can be sad too.

I’m writing a research database for a Breast Cancer research group. We started collecting patients as they came in for their appointments in late November. We average about 40 new entries in the database a week and we’re up to about 3000 patients so far. That’s 3000 patients, just at one clinic comprising 4 oncologists in Seattle that have confirmed breast cancer.

Data can be sad.

  1. Very sad. I think of my wife when I read that.
