MSN Messenger and configuring tabs

So does anyone out there know how to add/remove tabs from MSN messenger? There doesn’t appear to be any way to do it within the interface. Does it require a blood sacrifice because we have a cat I’m not too fond of.

Another instance where the UI gurus at MS don’t “get it”. I’ve got all these tabs on my messenger and no way to configure them or remove them from IN messenger itself.

    Well that takes care of hiding or showing ALL of them. But what if I only want to hide SOME of them? I don’t use expedia or the stock tab, but I do use the auto tab. How do I hide the expedia and stock tab? I don’t think there is a way to through MSN messenger itself.

    Another annoying thing, when you re-size the app the tab container doesn’t autoscroll. So if you want to use the tab, you’re messenger window will always have to be at least as tall as the height of the tabs. Bleh.

    Update your msn.
    Then do the same again.

    Also if you want to stop Msn from displaying Ads in the bottom box.
    Find the file “Links.txt” should be in your Temp folder, Delete the contents. Then right click the file and select properties, then select “read only”. then restart msn.

    i have recently downloaded msn messenger 7.5, much to my suprise there are now tabs and msn today does not work. On other peoples they have tabs and msn today pops up with a list of there emails to save them going into there acount on the explorer pages to see who they are from. Could you please tell me why this is happening. Also i’ve gone into settings and i can’t restore the tabs of add more. Any information would be gratefull. Cheers

    i use msn all time. i downloaded the new msn 7.5 and it doesnt have tabs down the side but it does for my sister who uses th same computer. it also doesnt have msn today and my space any more. how do i restore all of those things???
