In NYC for the rest of the week.

I’m up here meeting with a team from the Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer reasearch center about an application that Fred Hutch CRC is collaborating with them on. I like NYC fine, but my heart still belong in Seattle.

I just checked the CNN web site and then I realized that I’m only 12 blocks away from their broadcast studios. I could just WALK over and see what’s going on. It’s odd to not be 3 hours behind the news.

BTW if anyone knows of a good place on the upper west side to get a good small cheesecake to go, please let me know in the comments here. I could walk over to the carnegie deli, but that’s a fer piece from where I’m at (51st and Lexington).
