I used to use Mapquest, until the friggin thing kept getting me lost. Driving around El Paso at midnight in the rain trying to find a street that doesn’t exist is no way to find out an online map service sucks.

maps.yahoo.com might not look pretty, but it lets me save locations (like ‘work’, ‘home’, ‘aunt Carols house’) associated with my Yahoo account AND it’s accurate. So when I need to get driving directions from work to somewhere I haven’t been before, I just select “my work” from the dropdown list and then entire in the destination address.

The rest of the online communities still have a ways to go to catch up to Yahoo’s ease of use IMO. Google is the only one that approaches easy.
