Java Serialization and .NET – There Really *is* a Santa Claus

This is one of the cooler things I’ve seen in a while. We may have to set up an honest broker that takes care of serializing our objects to different systems for a project I’m working on. The objects would all be defined in a common object model, but we’re not forcing remote clients to impliment the objects in the .NET Framework. Many of the remote clients may be using Java. At first we had looked at creating an XML based solution. It’s interesting to find out that we may be able to use binary serialization as well.
