DRM music is not so bad

Gizmodo : Same Song, Second Verse: iTunes Breaks Hymn

I don’t understand all of the “DRM music stores are bad” yelling that goes on. I mean, all of the online music stores let you burn the songs you buy to CD. You burn the CD, you rip the CD to MP3 and boom, you can use the music on any machine. In fact, you can rip it at any bitrate you want.

Is it all just “my rights, my rights rabble rabble” or is there some actual hurt occurring and I’m missing it?

…the only hurt that occurs is felt by the Artists, who are not getting paid from all the ripped off copies of their music that people are sharing…
