Spoken like someone who’s never used Quicksilver or Slickrun. Although there is a large difference between the two. Quicksilver does search for documents, urls, and applications and allow you to either use the arrow keys or mouse to select them and the mouse button or enter key to launch them. Slickrun requires you to set up ‘magicwords’ to launch the applications.

Anyone who uses the mouse to select a search box, then types in an application name, and then once again uses the mouse to select the correct application from the search results list has long ago given up any semblance of trying to be efficient.

True, if that’s how it works in Longhorn it should be renamed Lamehorn.
