My makeshift docking station. My iBook is “docked” in the picture. Since I’m going to be working from home for a while after my daughter is born, I thought I should set up some kind of workstation in my work shop.

    Search on a hack too, you can turn that screen into a second desktop, there is a little hack that will let you do that. Powerbooks do it, iBooks don’t.

    Yeah, i’ve seen that hack. I’m just not comfortable enough with Apple hardware to go mucking around in Open Firmware.

    I’ve got a full size keyboard hooked up to an old PS/2 KVM switch. Then I’ve got a PS/2->USB keyboard/mouse converter. I was amazed that it worked.
